RICHARD C. "Dick" BRANDENBURG
BRANDENBURG, RICHARD "Dick" C. 90, of Jensen Beach, FL, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2019, at the Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart, FL. He was born in Detroit, MI., the only son, and youngest of 7 children to Williebrod and Edessia Brandenburg. He was raised and completed his schooling while living in Detroit. He enlisted in the United States Army set to deploy to Korea until his supervising officer encountered Richard bowling. He pulled his deployment orders and Richard spent most his time in the Army bowling for Army Exhibition Games, never leaving the States. After his enlistment, he returned to Detroit, MI., where he worked as a Machinist in the tool & die industry until his retirement. At his 25 year high school reunion, he reconnected with a childhood friend, Joan Jacques. The couple became inseparable, married, and spent the past 46 years together. Richard was predeceased by his daughter, Mary Kay, his parents and his 6 sisters. He is survived by wife: Joan Brandenburg; children: Dale Brandendburg and wife Xulane, Jeff Brandenburg, Joan Mulry, James P. Ranta and wife Melanie; grandchildren: Erin Mulry, Timothy Mulry, James J. Ranta, Philip Ranta and five great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his many friends and bowling buddies, both in Michigan and Jensen Beach, Florida. A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, December 6 10:30am at St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church, Jensen Beach, FL. Arrangements entrusted to All County Funeral Home & Crematory
