Melvin L. Cobaugh
Melvin L. Cobaugh, 85, of Palmyra, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2019, at the Palmyra Heritage Home. Born August 10, 1934, in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Clayton E. and Mary A. (Reigle) Cobaugh. He was preceded in death by six sisters; Violet Miller, Pauline Dillon, Madelyn Malseed, Betty Robinson, Mary Miller and Dorothy Behney; two brothers, Harold Cobaugh & Clayton Cobaugh, Jr.; and best friend & brother-in-law, Paul E. Finney. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patricia L. (Finney) Cobaugh; his brother, Daniel Cobaugh, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces, and great great nephews. Melvin retired from the Mechanicsburg Naval Depot and Hershey Park. He was a Marine Veteran of the Korean War and was a baseball coach for Herpak Team at South East Midget Baseball League. A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 5, 2019, at 10:30 am, in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry Street, Harrisburg, with a visitation from 9:30 am until the time of service. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
