Kevin Cecil
The family of Kevin Cecil announces, with broken hearts, his passing on November 26, 2019. Kevin was the son of Carl and Barbara Cecil of Boiling Springs. He graduated from Boiling Springs High School, Class of 1992, where he won a National Merit Scholarship and was selected for the Mid Penn All Star soccer team. He attended the University of Pittsburgh where he was an honor student majoring in engineering. He loved playing soccer, online gaming, the band Phish and was a whiz at Jeopardy. During his teen years Kevin worked at Allenberry Playhouse, Rillo's Restaurant, South Middleton Recreation Department, PPG Industries and Allegheny Ludlum Steel. He is survived by his parents, Carl and Barbara Cecil; brother, Christopher Cecil (Lori) of Mechanicsburg; aunts, CarolAnn Spencer (Larry) Ellenton, Fl and Susan Hartley (Steve) of Staunton, VA; uncle, John Markey (Lisa), Boca Raton, FL; and several cousins. We wish to acknowledge lifelong friends, Richard and Candy Weller, Meghan Barnes Pandya and his devoted aides, Deede Dyarman, Rhonda and Ashleigh Morrison. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 1-3 pm in the Hollinger Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065.
