Michael A. Schade
Michael A. Schade, 62, of Mechanicsburg, entered into eternal rest on November 22, 2019 at the Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg. He was born on June 18, 1957 in Harrisburg, PA and was the son of the late Robert and Nancy (Prowell) Schade. Michael was employed by the National Recovery Agency. He was a member of the West Fairview American Legion Post 984 and the Verhovay Home Association, Harrisburg. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and enjoyed NASCAR. In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Schade II. Michael is survived by two siblings, Linda Weigle and her husband John and Douglas Schade and his wife Crystal; a niece Michele L. Schade, a great-niece Ryleigh Shover and his significant other, Kim Wolfe. A celebration of his life will be on December 16, 2019 at the Verhovay Home Association, 1012 S. 29th St., Harrisburg PA 17111 from 3:00-7:00 PM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 260 E.
