Boven, Donald Donald Martin Boven, age 83, of Wyoming, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 30, 2019, as he was surrounded by his family. Don was a sports enthusiast and a car buff. He was a veteran who served in the Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Aloisia (Louise) Boven. Don will be lovingly remembered by his children and grandchildren, Rudi and Ursula Mengele (Michael, Joerg and Kerstin), Raimund and Cindy Sohr (Ray and Alexa, Kelli and Jacob), Esther and Terry Braun (Tim and Jessica, Josh), Deb and Bill Ketchum (Lindsey, Casey and Ben, Billeejo and Tim, Madison, Rylee), Lisa Stickler (Jordan, Nathan); ten great-grandchildren, Joshua, Aaiden, Aubriana, Mason, Layla, Luisa, Paula, Mila, Lakynn, Amelia; and three great-grandchildren on the way. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, 7:00 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf (Wyoming), 4031 Clyde Park SW, 49509. Interment Blain Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 5 to 6:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. For those who wish, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
