David "Atticus" Dalton Haubstadt, Ind. - David "Atticus" Dalton, of Haubstadt, Indiana, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2019 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. David was born in Mosinee, Wisconsin on March 13, 1960 to David Sr. and Sandra Dalton. David was very proud and dearly loved Wisconsin for it's year round beauty and natural resources. David was an outdoorsman, amateur chef, gardener, storyteller, papermaker, and football fan "Go Packers"! He was wicked smart, crazy funny and very sentimental. David was an animal whisperer and a calmer of crying babies. He had a great knowledge and appreciation of music and staunch supporter of drummers, "they are the real driver of the band". David is survived by his companion of nine years, Marjie "Bleu" Akin; by his mother, Sandra Dalton of Wisconsin; sister, Heather Matti of North Carolina; and brother Chris Dalton of Illinois; and Marjie's sons, Logan, Brody, and Hunter DeWeese of Evansville, Indiana. David was preceded in death by his father, David Dalton, Sr. A gathering for family and friends will be held from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711.
