Mary Ann Bartley Beloved by her family, had 25-year career as Kearny bank teller Mary Ann Bartley (nee Shea), 76, died Nov. 28, 2019. Born in Newark, N.J., she lived her adult life and raised her family in North Arlington, N.J., and Kearny, N.J. She was a loyal bank teller at Valley National Bank in Kearny for 25 years before retiring as a head teller in 2005. She was the beloved wife of Edward T. Bartley Jr.; the cherished mother of Mary Ann Sweeney and her husband, Thomas, and Jo Ann Karcic and her husband, Mario; the adored grandmother of Patrick, Kate, Sarah, Shea and Julia; the dear sister of Frank Shea and his wife, Nancy, and the loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. The funeral will be from the Parow Funeral Home, 185 Ridge Rd., North Arlington, on Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 9 a.m., thence to Our Lady Queen of Peace, North Arlington, for the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation will be at the funeral home Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's New Jersey, 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251, Denville, N.J. 07834.
