Edward C. Mikol Jr., 63 'A generous, caring and faithful man' Edward C. Mikol Jr., 63, passed away on Nov. 25, 2019. He was the devoted son of the late Edward C. Mikol Sr. and the late Anne C. Mikol. He also considered himself a "Big Brother" to Eric, Kaitlyn and Ryan. Eddie was a very religious man who was a dedicated usher and parishioner at St. Rita's Church. He was a graduate of the College of Staten Island. Eddie enjoyed watching Yankees games, cooking and most importantly reading his prayer book. He was an extremely smart man; he spoke a variety of languages including Polish, Ukrainian and Russian fluently. Eddie was a great role model to others; he will be remembered as a generous, caring and faithful man who treated other with the utmost respect. He will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure to know him. Funeral is from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Monday, departing at 9:15 a.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Rita's R.C. Church at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx, N.Y.
