Howard 'Hap' Arnold Dec. 9, 1932 - Nov. 7, 2019 Hap Arnold passed away peacefully Nov. 7, 2019. Born in Enid, Okla., Hap moved to Oregon as a young boy. After graduating Franklin High and Northwest Nazarene College, he served in the Marine Corps as an officer and a helicopter pilot. He went on to have a long and successful career in real estate and property development in the Portland area. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Arnold; daughter and son-in-law, Osa Arnold and Ric Schultz; grandson, Darrin Schultz; stepson, Barry LaValla; twin sisters, Dianna Sowles and JoJo Coloma; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Cecile Arnold; wife, JoEllen (Compton) Arnold; siblings, Jean Staffenson, Ivan Arnold and Donna Scott.
