Rosalie A. "Miss Polli" McMillion
Rosalie A. "Miss Polli" McMillion, 74, of Lower Paxton Township, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Thursday November 7, 2019. Born November 27, 1944, in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of the late Robert Lee and Ida (Shackleford) McIntyre. A graduate of William Penn High School, she had been employed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, for over 30 years, as well as Pennsylvania Blue Shield, prior to her retirement. Miss Polli was a faithful member of the North 17th Street Church of God, where she served as an Usher, Sunday School Teacher, Secretary and Treasurer, and Director of the Food Bank. She was a diehard and avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Rosalie is survived by her daughter, Kimberly A. McIntyre and her wife Theresa McIntyre, of Steelton, and sons, Sterling A. McIntyre, and his significant other, Catherine Zeigler, and Qwan J. McIntyre, of Harrisburg. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; a brother, Robert McIntyre, Jr., of Harrisburg, and sisters, Darlene Wright, and her husband Robert, of Harrisburg, and Brenda Jackson, of Kentucky. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Shirley V. Vaughan and Florence G. Holton. Her Memorial Homegoing Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday November 20, 2019 at the North 17th Church of God, 615 N. 17th Street, Harrisburg, with Pastor Gregory Long, officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends at a Repast following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her church.
