Jodi V. Arrabito, 63 Loving mother and grandmother Jodi V. Arrabito (nee Bryan), 63, died October 26, 2019, in Cocoa Beach, Fla., near her home in Merritt Island. Her funeral service and burial will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019, at the Church of the Ascension, 1 Kingsley Ave., Staten Island, N.Y. 10314. All are welcome to attend. Her indomitable faith and the fierce love she bore for her family define Jodi's life and legacy. Born on Staten Island on April 22, 1957, to William and Mabel Bryan, she had two sisters, Pamela Bryan and Kim Tutler. She attended P.S. 30, I.S. 51, and Port Richmond High School before starting her family. As a mother and grandmother, she tended to her family with a virtually limitless well of compassion, empathy, and affection. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. In 2011, Jodi made the courageous decision to relocate to Florida and begin a new set of adventures, facing new experiences while holding her head high. Through it all, Jodi's faith and spirituality guided her. She is survived by her sister, Pamela; her wife, Sharon Brown; her children, Danielle Rodriguez, Christina, and James; her son-in-law, Paul; her daughter-in-law, Casey; her grandchildren, Alivia, Christian, Paul, Julian, and Mabel; her stepdaughter, Lindsey Brown; and the hundreds of people whose lives she touched. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church of the Ascension.
