William M. Cottingham
William M. Cottingham, 61, of Hummelstown, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2019, in the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center with his family by his side. Born in Harrisburg on September 7, 1958, he was the son of the late Robert K. and Judith A. Williams Cottingham. Bill was a former construction worker for Fleetwood Homes, Elizabethtown, and had worked at Fresh Express, Hummelstown. He was a 1977 graduate of Lower Dauphin High School where he was a basketball star. Bill was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan; and enjoyed taking walks, going to the movies, spending time at the family cabin and fishing. Bill is survived by one son, Aaron M. Cottingham of Hummelstown; one daughter, Alyson L. Cottingham of Hummelstown; one brother, Robert T. Cottingham of Hummelstown; two sisters, Tamara L. Annibali wife of Tony J. of Palmyra, and Lisa D. Myers wife of Bryce of Hummelstown; and nieces and nephews. A celebration of Bill's life will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at 11 AM in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, with The Rev. David W. Di Raddo, Remnant Life of Mechanicsburg, officiating. Inurnment will be in Fishburn Cemetery, Hershey. A visitation will be held on Tuesday in the funeral home from 10 AM until time of the service.
