Roland Small, Jr. Roland Small, Jr., age 60, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 12:22 a.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, at St. Vincent Hospital - Evansville. Roland was born August 27, 1959, in Evansville, IN, to Roland Small, Sr. and Edna (Williams) Small. He graduated from Bosse High School and was a devout member of Eastminster Presbyterian Church. Roland was a children's book author who ran a coloring book ministry. He enjoyed Civil War Reenacting, and he rode his bike to Vincennes to participate in reenactments. Roland is survived by his guardian, Rob Engelbrecht; sisters, Arlita Small - Baker, Edna Small, and LaChelle Williams; and many nieces and nephews. Roland is preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Toni Hart and Sheila Lipson. A Service of Witness to the Resurrection will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at Eastminster Presbyterian Church at 5501 Washington Avenue with Reverend Dr. Scott Solether and Reverend Dr. Dennis Davenport officiating. Burial will be Private in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time, Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at Eastminster Presbyterian Church. Memorial Contributions may be made to: Eastminster Presbyterian Church at 5501 Washington Avenue, Evansville, IN 47715.
