Michael Stephan Popp
Michael Stephan Popp Aug. 6, 1947 - Nov. 2, 2019 Mike Popp passed away Nov. 2, 2019. Mike was the only child of Steve and Fredda Popp. He grew up in Portland and graduated from Benson Tech HS in 1965 and later went on to become a member of IBEW Local 48 as an Electrician. Mike was employed and retired from the Portland Water Bureau and enjoyed retirement to the fullest. Mike married Arlene Jacoy in 1970, they were a true love match for a glorious 49 years. His greatest joy was being with family and friends and traveling anywhere at any time. Being a Little League coach brought great joy to Mike and the friendships that were made at this time lasted a lifetime. Mike is survived by his wife, Arlene; son, Steve (Thea); granddaughter, Mallory; brother-in-law, Randy (Lynda); and nieces, Dominique and Alaina. The family wishes to express thanks for the loving care Mike received at Sylvia and John's Residential Care. A private service will be held at a date to be determined.
