Steven L. Bowen
Steven L. Bowen of Linglestown, Pennsylvania passed away surrounded by his wife, Sally Bowen; daughter, Stephanie Fitz-Enz; and son in-law, Jonathan Fitz-Enz on November 2, 2019 in Frederick. Maryland. Steve is also survived by his granddaughter, Meredith Fitz-Enz; his brother, Douglas Bowen and his nephews Brax Bowen and Zak Bowen. Steve was born to Robert and Louise Bowen of Berwick, Pennsylvania. He grew up in Berwick, Pennsylvania where he met and married the love of his life, Sally. They were married for 55 years. Steve graduated from Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology in Lancaster Pennsylvania specializing in printing. Steve went on to a 35-year career working as a master printer. He was a veteran of the Army Reserve. Steve was an active member of his community serving as an elder of the St Thomas United Church of Christ in Linglestown, was a free Mason and participated in several local Civil War roundtables. He loved and was very talented at woodworking and stained glass making. A memorial service will be held at the St Thomas United Church of Christ in Linglestown, PA on Friday, November 15th at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation to St. Thomas United Church of Christ in Linglestown, PA in Steve's name.
