Blanche Marie Millar Mass is on Saturday for mother, grandmother, aunt and friend Blanche Marie (Stemplinger) Millar entered eternal life on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2019. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Maxwell; her parents, Mathias and Blanche Stemplinger; her brothers, Leroy and Robert Stemplinger; her sisters, Dorothy Stemplinger and Anne Stemplinger Gross Cassidy, and her niece, Joan Ellen Gassert (Bob). Blanche leaves her daughter, Kathy (Ben) of Pompton Plains, N.J.; son, John (Maureen) of Landing, N.J., and son, Jeff (Annie) of Clifton, N.J.; her granddaughters, Christine of Hawthorne, N.J., and Jackie (Mike) of Lake Hiawatha, N.J.; her grandsons, Matt (Jen) of Morris Plains, N.J.; David (Meggie) of Clarendon Hills, Ill., and Edward (Kiyomi) of Lewiston, N.Y., and three great-grandchildren: Maggie, Eoin, and Ellie. She also leaves her nephews, Rev. Joseph Gross of Baltimore, and Dr. Robert Stemplinger of Ft. Myers, Fla., and a host of dear friends whose lives she touched. Visiting hours are Friday, Nov. 8, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at Our Lady of Consolation RC Church, Wayne, N.J. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, N.J.
