DAVENPORT, Floyd Gray Floyd Gray Davenport, 77, from Flower Mound, Texas, passed away November 5, 2019. He was born in Oklahoma City, OK and spent his school years in Ardmore, OK before graduating from Abilene Christian College. Floyd practiced interior design in Dallas, TX for 50 years. He was a life member of the American Society of Interior Designers. He actively promoted the industry as Vice President of the Texas Chapter as well as many other chapter offices. Floyd was a member of the Highland Oaks Church of Christ. He is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Marian Wooldridge Davenport. He is survived by his three sons: Benjamin, and wife Julie; Andrew, and wife Amy; Adam, and wife Kelli; and eight grandchildren: Jane, Max, Anna Gray, Asher, Braden, Delani, Ayla, and Andee Laine. In memory of his late wife, please consider donating to the Alzheimer's Association, 4144 North Central Expressway, Suite 750, Dallas, TX 75204. Floyd's service will be held at Highland Oaks Church of Christ, 10805 Walnut Hill Lane in Dallas Texas. After the celebration of Floyd's life, there will be a gathering in the Fellowship Hall to greet the family.
