Kenneth J. Donohue, 88 Retired forensic photographer, enjoyed spending time with family Kenneth J. Donohue, 88, retired forensic photographer with the United States Public Health Service Hospital passed away peacefully after a long illness. Ken, who photographed many weddings over the years, enjoyed spending time with his family and spent his retired days involved in animal rescue. He was an avid member of the National Rifle Association. Many will remember Ken for his humor and generosity. Ken was born and raised in West Brighton and remained a lifelong resident. He was a graduate of St. Peter's High School, Cass of 1949. He attended Wagner College before entering the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Ken was predeceased by his beloved wife of 56 years, Evelyn (nee Gardner), and his daughter, Linda Ann. He was the devoted father of Richard, Amy Donohue-Cancel (Shaggy), Michael (Jean), and Alison (Michael); cherished grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, and devoted uncle of Sister Faith Margaret CHS and Katharine Carnegie (David). Funeral is Thursday from Harmon Funeral Home, 571 Forest Ave., West Brighton. Funeral Mass is at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary' Castleton Episcopal Church.
