Julienne Goldson
Julienne Goldson, 98 Federal employee of U.S. Navy, longtime New Brighton resident Julienne Goldson, 98, a longtime New Brighton resident, died on Oct. 30, 2019. Born Julienne Laveist in Staten Island, she spent her early childhood in Saint Martin and later returned to the U.S. and graduated from McKee High School. Julienne worked as a federal employee with the U.S. Navy for over 30 years. Julienne was a longtime member at Bethel Community Church. She enjoyed gardening, and traveling to Saint Martin. She was predeceased by her husband of 30 years, Charles Harold Goldson; her brother, Edgar Laveist; her sister, Nadine Roland, and her stepson, Rudy Goldson. She is survived by her son, Lance Goldson; a niece, Renee Stefanski; a nephew, Charles Roland, and many great-nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Thursday, Nov. 7, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Scamardella Funeral Home, with services on Friday, Nov. 8, at 10 a.m., at Bethel Community Church, followed by internment at Silver Mount Cemetery.
