Thomas Rigney, 40 'Always made certain everyone around him was laughing' Thomas Rigney, "Citos", 40, born on Sept. 16, 1979, passed on Nov. 1, 2019. Tommy was a gradute of St. Peter's Boy's High School, Class of 1997. Recently, he became a member of the Department of Transportation and loved working out in the field. His favorite pastime was playing and spending time with his four nieces and his nephew. He had a heart bigger than the room, an infectious smile, and always made certain everyone around him was laughing. He was the loving father of Gianna; finace of Gina; caring son of Thomas and Sylvia, and tremendous brother of Stephen and Christopher. Also surviving are his sisters-in-law, Ashley and Danielle; uncles, John and John; aunt, Tatiana, and cousins, Michael and Paulita. Visitation will be Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Matthew Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m., at Sacred Heart Church, 981 Castleton Ave., SI. Interment to immediately follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
