Howard A. Shaneberger UPPER SAUCON TOWNSHIP Howard A. Shaneberger, 71, of Upper Saucon Township, formerly of Easton, PA, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2019 in Good Shepherd Specialty Hospital at LVH-Muhlenberg. Born March 20, 1948, in Glen Gardner, NJ, he was the son of the late Howard J. and Irma (Gingles) Shaneberger. Howard graduated from Easton High School Class of 1966 and served on the committee for the Easton High School Vietnam Veterans Memorial. He served with the US Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Society of the 1st Infantry Division also known as "Big Red One". Howard retired from the former Mack Printing Company, where he worked for 45 years. He was an avid Notre Dame Fighting Irish fan. He was a life member of Citizens Hose Company and the former Order of Fleas, Inc., and a member of American Legion Post 242, Quakertown, Vietnam Veterans of America and was a volunteer fireman with Delaware Park Fire Company #1. Surviving are a daughter, Brynn Shaneberger and her companion Jason Clouse, of Orlando, FL; a son, Ryan H. Shaneberger and his companion Greta Wittrien, of Lopatcong Township, NJ; two grandsons, Philip and Patrick Shaneberger; and his companion, Meg Fluck, of Coopersburg. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 602 W. Berwick Street, Easton. Call Tuesday 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
