Kenneth F. Misa Rancho Mirage - Kenneth F. Misa, formerly of Rancho Mirage died on October 2, 2019. He was born on September 24, 1939 to Frank and Mary Misa in Jamaica, NY. He graduated from Chaminade H.S. ( 1957 ), Fairfield University with a B.S. in Psychology ( 1961 ), Purdue University — MS in Psychology ( 1963 ) and Ph.D in Psychology from St. John's University, NY in 1966. Dr. Misa began his career in organizational psychology with Rohrer, Hibler, Replogle. He joined A. T. Kearney Management Consultants in 1968, working his way up Partner and Manager of the U.S. Human Resources Consulting Group. In 1987 Dr. Misa founded HR Consulting Group, Inc. managing major client relationships until his death. Dr. Misa was a licensed psychologist and a member of the American Psychological Association, California Psychological Association and the American Psychotherapy Association and former member of the Jonathan Club, Los Angeles. He is survived by his sister Victoria Nagle and late brother-in-law Bruce, of Long Island, NY, sister Marilyn McKenna and late brother-in-law Michael, of Long Island, NY and his brother Daniel and sister-in-law Patricia of Canton, GA and his life partner of 49 years, Neil R. Castren. Ken and Neil traveled the world together but Ken's avocation was coming home to a garden filled with roses, relaxing with a good book and classical music in the background. Ken was filled with the joy of the Catholic faith. A Memorial Mass for Ken will be held at Christ the Redeemer R.C. Church in Dawsonville, GA on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 10:30 AM.
