In memory of
PAMELA EILEEN DOHERTY
Left us on her birthday, October 11, ending her years-long battle with COPD and lung cancer. She was a gift to us all. She had a dazzling smile and a stunning, natural beauty that was surpassed only by her warmth and generosity towards others. Pam grew up in the nomadic life of an Air Force kid. Her father Jack Speaker, was a decorated war hero and POW. She found the home she was searching for when she moved with her family to Manhattan Beach in 1983. She loved the South Bay lifestyle, and found ample opportunities for her creative pursuits. She was a talented artist, and her paintings of original local houses are prized possessions. Pam is survived by her husband Bob, her daughter Taylor, and sons Ryan and Eric. Her daughter Karen, tragically was lost to cancer as well, just a few years earlier. She also leaves six grandchildren; Jesse, Cody, Amber, Austin, Nicole, and Joshua, as well as 8 great grandchildren. She also lives on in the love of her sister Jeri, and her brothers John and Greg. A celebration of life is being planned.
