In memory of
LOIS C. CARMOSINO
age 87 of Richmond Heights passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2019 after a valiant battle with Cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents Anthony and Rose. She is survived by several generations of cousins, including Ronald A. Rosati, Melissa A. Rosati, Matthew D. Rosati, Delores Mazzocco, Becky Demancsik, and Thomas Aquila. Her beloved neighbors, John, Margie, and Bernie Parkinson knew Lois as a devoted friend and neighborhood watch. From her picture window, Lois enjoyed spending time observing birds, squirrels, the occasional deer, and keeping up with her community. A passionate cook, Lois was well-versed in traditional Italian dishes and loved to experiment with flavor combinations to delight her guests. All were welcome at her table for good food and conversation. She loved to reminisce about the "old neighborhood" Collinwood over a bowl of hearty minestrone and glass of Chianti. Entering the world of work in the 1950s, Lois was trailblazer for career women at the Cleveland Illuminating Company. As chief supervisor in the accounting payroll department, she received commendations for her leadership, and she was very proud of her team. When Cancer entered her life, God sent Lois two very special angels. Her healthcare aides Debbie Taylor and Beverly Young. Committed professionals, Debbie and Beverly provided outstanding care, friendship, and an abundance of love. Funeral Service 11:30 am Thursday October 24 at the DiCICCO & SONS FUNERAL HOME 5975 Mayfield Rd. Mayfield Hts., OH 44124 where the family will receive friends 10:30 am until the time of service.
