In memory of
Anne Earley
CLYDE –Anne Earley, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt, entered into her eternal rest on Wednesday (October 16, 2019). Calling hours will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday (October 21) at St. John the Evangelist Church in Clyde, with a funeral mass to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph the Worker Parish or to St. Jude Hospital. Anne was born on July 26,1924 to Mary and Pasquale DiSanto and she was a lifelong resident of Clyde. She worked at GE in her younger years where she met her husband, then she stayed home to raise her daughters until the youngest was 12, when she went to work at St. John's school cafeteria, then went to work at the former Newark Developmental Center, retiring in 1987. She was a lifelong member of St. Joseph the Worker Church, where she volunteered for many years counting the collection money, saying the rosary at the nursing home, and at the various functions of the church. She also belonged to the Catholic Daughters. Mom enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, the jumble and watching Jeopardy. But her favorite thing to do was spending time with her family. She is survived by her four daughters Mary Anne (Parry) Kitchner, Kathy, Nancy (George Paton), and Eileen (Tony Scalise) Earley; three grandsons David (Tracy), Chris (Nicole), and Tim (Mandy) Minsterman; step-grandson, Bart (Kristie) Kitchner; three great -grandchildren Jana Anne, Nolan James, and Evan Christopher Minsterman; two step-grandchildren Giada and Lucio Kitchner; special nieces Patty and Alayna DiSanto; and several other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband, James, in October 1985; her siblings Helen, Tony, Peter and Teresa; and nieces Connie and Helen. She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her. The Earley family would like to thank the wonderful people at Lifetime Care and the staff at Clifton Springs hematology and oncology departments.
