Edward T. Osterholm Sept. 19, 1931 - Oct. 10, 2019 Ed was born and raised in Portland. He attended Woodlawn Park Grade School and Benson H.S. He was preceded in death (1974) by his wife, Mariann (Buchheit), they were married Feb. 14, 1953. He was a Sargent in the USAF working on F-86 Sabre's, B-29's and B-50's at Mather Field in Sacramento. He was the 2nd employee hired at Opti-Craft were he retired 40 years later, making sunglasses for Elvis Presley, Sammy Davis Jr., Steve McQueen and Elton John among others. He still enjoyed a weekly breakfast with the guys for years after retirement. Ed was an avid boater, fisherman, clam digger and road tripper. He will be greatly missed. Ed is survived by his brother, Victor; and sister, Jeanette Barber; his sons, Gary (Debbi) and Larry; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held from 1 - 4 p.m., Friday, Oct. 25, 2019, at Gary's home. He supported Randall Children's Hospital. Please sign the online guest book at www.oregonlive.com/obits
