Alberta "Bert" (Johnson) Morell Evansville - Alberta "Bert" (Johnson) Morell, 66, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN. She was born June 1, 1953 in Evansville to the late William and Edna (Clem) Johnson. Bert was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed spending time crocheting and reading. She worked as a cashier for Royal Superfoods, Casino Aztar and Thorntons. Bert is survived by her husband of 27 years, Ricky Morell; son, Lester P. (Sarah) Lamberson; daughter, Sherrie A. (Mike) Bradford; step-daughter, Crystal Dawn Morell; grandchildren, Hannah, Kimbra and Gideon Lamberson, Jessica, Jenette, Devin and Michael Bradford; sisters, Sandra Lamey, Pattie Grant and Tammy Rankin. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Goematt. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, October 14, 2019 at Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel, 626 N. First Ave., Evansville 47710. A funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at the funeral home with Pastor Alan Scott officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, 2500 Mesker Park Dr., Evansville, IN 47720. Memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 3101 N.
