beloved husband of Marcia Berlin and father to Stephanie (Steve), Lisa (Perry), Grant (Melissa), Valerie and Mitchell (Milan) and grandfather to Aaron, Jarrod, Isabella and Aliza Baden, Ryan and Alex Berlin, Spencer, Lindsay, Griffin and Ivy Berlin and Zoey and Phoebe Berlin passed away on October 5. He was 92 years old. Murray was born in the Bronx, New York and made his way to Cleveland as an independent sales representative where his met his wife of 60 years, Marcia. Together they raised their 5 children while enjoying travel, tennis and the company of good friends. Murray, an avid story teller, will be remembered for his contagious sense of humor and his love of preparing, cooking and eating gourmet cuisine. He was most happy spending time with his family, dancing and listening to great music. Services will be held Friday October 11, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel 1985 South Taylor Rd. Cleveland Heights. Interment Mt. Olive Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the residence 607 Magnolia Lane Chagrin Falls. Friday immediately following interment to 8 PM, and Saturday 5-9 PM. Contributions are suggested to Geauga Humane Society Rescue Village or The Hospice of the Western Reserve.
