Alex Hadley, 76, of Escatawpa, MS, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2019 in Pascagoula, MS. Alex was born on March 7, 1943 in Perdido, AL to the late Johnny and Ruby Hadley. Alex retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding after 43 years. He loved computers and had a knack for electronics. In addition to his parents, Alex was preceded in death by his daughter, Sherry Diane Hadley; step-sons, Robert Joseph Williams and Bobby Joey Williams; sister, Merle "Sis" Stewart and brothers, Nip Hadley and John Arthur Hadley. He is survived by his wife Joyce Hadley; daughter, Sheryl Denise Smith; step-daughter, Angela (Mike) Garrard; grandchildren, Amanda Davidson, Crystal Garrard, Anthony Garrard, Tiffany Smith, Randy Smith, Christian Smith, and Elaina Smith; brothers, Wendell (Trudy) Hadley, Pete (Susan) Hadley, and Buddy (Shirley) Hadley; and sister, Patricia (Bobby) Talmage; along with numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. The visitation for Alex will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Escatawpa, MS. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel beginning at 12 noon with Bro. Matt Morse officiating. Interment will be held at Serene Memorial Gardens.
