Belinda Callahan
Ms. Belinda Callahan, 46, of West Bay, FL, passed away at her home on Tuesday, October 1, 2019. Belinda was born in Bay County and was a lifelong resident of West Bay. She was known as the "Boss Lady" of Callahan Forestry Services. She was also a member of West Bay Community Church. Belinda is preceded in death by her brother, Brent Callahan. She is survived by her parents, Bobby & Jeanne Callahan; one brother, Bobby Callahan (Wendy); one sister, Beth Parsons (Steve) all of West Bay; nieces and nephew, Lindsey Kline, Cory Parsons, Emily Parsons and Ashllyn Miller; great niece and nephews, Harrison Kline, Audrey and Jaxon Furtaw; brother-in-law/hair dresser, James Vertrees of Lynn Haven; and her boston terrier companion, "Daisy". Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 5, 2019 at West Bay Community Church on Hwy. 388 in West Bay with Rev. Gerald Owens officiating. Interment will follow in West Bay Cemetery. The following gentlemen will serve as active pallbearers: Steve Mitchell, Joey Sowell, Joey Callahan, Joe Callahan, John Holley, Keith Holley, Chris Callahan and C.J. Callahan. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday evening at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shaddai Shrine Temple Building Fund at 1101 W. 19th Street, Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of Belinda Callahan. Lunch will be at the Callahan Farm after the service at 9439 Steelfield Road in West Bay.
