Glen And Claire Foster
Glen and Claire Foster Palm Springs - It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Glen and Claire Foster. Glen passed away on June 27, 2019 and Claire passed away on August 13, 2019. Glenn was 95 and Claire was 93. They were an inseparable couple and lived a happy and joyous life.They loved traveling together and they truly loved their extended family. While they never had children of their own, they so much loved being involved with all their nieces and nephews and treated them as if they were their own children. Glenn is survived by his sister, Velma Youngblood along with twelve (12) nieces and nephews. Claire has eleven (11) surviving nieces and nephews. Glen, originally from Oklahoma, had a career as an Engineer and retired from FMC Corporation in 1989. Claire worked in the food service industry and later operated her own beauty salon before retiring. In 1998 they moved from San Jose to Palm Desert. They were involved in many community activities and were active in their church - The Church of the Red Door and embraced their Christian faith throughout their lives. They are buried at Riverside National Cemetery. A celebration of life / memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 5th, at 1 p.m, at Webb community Center (38180 Del Webb Blvd., Palm Desert, CA.)
