Paul Stetz Jr.
Paul Stetz Jr., loving husband and father of two children, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at the age of 69, after a long battle with cancer. Paul was born on April 24,1950. He attended Roland High School in La Puente where he was on the track team. Paul met his future wife at church while in high school. He joined the US Navy in 1969. He married his wife Janice Stetz while stationed in Maryland in 1970. After serving in the US Navy, Paul attended California State University, Fullerton and California Polytechnic University, Pomona. Paul and his family moved to the Coachella Valley in 1979. Paul worked in the nursery business throughout his life and loved every minute of it. He had a passion for plants and appreciated everyone he worked with over the years. During his free time Paul enjoyed listening to classic rock music and traveling with his family. Paul will be forever missed by his devoted wife Janice Stetz, daughters Rachel Stetz and Jennifer Pavia, son-in-law Sam Pavia, and his grandchildren Aiden, Hailey, Ezra, and Naiya. He will also be missed by many more family members and friends whose lives he touched.
