Amato "Adam" DePaulo
Amato 'Adam' DePaulo BANGOR Amato "Adam" DePaulo, 92, of Bangor, passed away, Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2019, at St. Luke's Hospice House. He was the husband of Judith (Cerino) DePaulo; they celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on June 14, 2019. Born in Bangor, Aug. 1, 1927, he was the son of the late Phillip and Grace (Ferato) DePaulo. Adam was a 1946 graduate of Bangor High School and served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was employed by Lafayette College for 49 years, and an electrician and supervisor of mechanical trades. He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Roseto, a 3rd degree Knight belonging to the Father DeNisco Council of the Knights of Columbus and the Martocci-Capobianco Post of the American Legion Post 750, Roseto. Adam enjoyed following his grandchildren's sporting events, golf and watching all sports. In addition to his wife, Judith, he is survived by a daughter, Grace Marie Cozzubbo and her husband, Mario, of Pen Argyl, two sons, Amato " Matty" DePaulo and his wife Cathy of Roseto and Michael DePaulo and his wife Stella of Wind Gap, five grandchildren, Mario, Gabriela, Annalise, Daniel and Joseph, three sisters, Grace Ruggiero of Pen Argyl, Marie Vonelli and her husband Phillip of Pen Argyl and Rena Kittek and her husband John of Moore Township and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Frank DePaulo. The family would like to thank for their care and compassion, Dr. Douglas Turtzo and staff, Care Pine Home Health, St. Luke's Anderson Campus, St. Luke's Hospice House and The Rev. Gregory P. Cozzubbo, C.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 3rd and Garibaldi avenues, Roseto. There will be viewing hours Friday beginning at 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Ruggiero Funeral Home, LLC, www.ruggierofuneralhome.com , 126 E. Pennsylvania Ave., Pen Argyl, and Saturday beginning at 9:30 until 10:15 at the funeral home. Entombment will be in the Queen of Heaven Mausoleum, Roseto.
