Ellsworth C. Bush Jr.
Ellsworth C. Bush Jr. NAZARETH Ellsworth C. Bush Jr., 86, of Nazareth, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2019, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg. He was the husband of the late Claire L. (Andrews) Bush, with whom he shared 60 loving years of marriage prior to her passing in 2016. Born in Macungie, he was a son of the late Ellsworth C. Sr. and Eva A. (Hersh) Bush. He was a graduate of Nazareth High School, Class of 1950, and honorably served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Following his military service, Ellsworth enjoyed a career with C.F. Martin Guitar that spanned more than 40 years, of which he served as a supervisor in various departments before retiring in 1997. He was a member of the M.O.R.A. Club, Nazareth American Legion, and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Ellsworth also was an active member of St. John's United Church of Christ where he served on the consistory and funeral luncheon committee, and was an usher and deacon. He will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his daughter, Cynthia Garr and her husband, Richard, of Bushkill Township; son, Jeffrey Bush of Moore Township; four granddaughters, Jennifer, Deirdre, Emily and Olivia; five great-grandchildren, Maya, Claudia, Henry, Joseph, and Jeffrey, and four nieces and a nephew. In addition to his late wife, Claire, he was predeceased by his brothers, George and Lamar Bush, and sister, Carol Snyder. A funeral service will be held on Monday, Sept. 23, 2019, at 11 a.m., in St. John's United Church of Christ, 183 S. Broad St., Nazareth, PA 18064. Friends and relatives are invited to call on Monday morning from 10 to 11 a.m. in the church. Interment will be private. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the George G. Bensing Funderal Home, Inc., Village of Moorestown - Bath. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to St. John's United Church of Christ, Nazareth. George G.
