In memory of
Marsha Wilkie Doting Grammy, remembered for her sharp mind and quick wit Marsha Kathleen Wilkie, age 76, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2019, at her daughter's home in Carmel, Ind. While a brain tumor unfortunately ran its rampant course, we will remember Marsha for her sharp mind and quick wit wrapped in an always classy and dignified exterior. Marsha was born Nov. 18, 1942, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Martin and Bernice Meyers. She married her University of Michigan sweetheart, William Spencer Wilkie, in September of 1967. Bill preceded her in death in 2007. Marsha was many things. She was a loving wife, a devoted mother, a smart and successful career woman, an animal lover, a world traveler, a beach connoisseur, a voracious reader, a bridge fanatic, a maj enthusiast, a fierce shopper, a tremendous cook, and a caring friend. Marsha is survived by her two daughters, Laurie and Mollie Wilkie, and three grandchildren, Jack, Sam and Penny, all of whom she would have done anything for. Doting on her grandkids was a favorite pastime of Marsha's and they fondly remember their fun times with 'Grammy.' Please join us in celebrating her life Friday morning Sept. 13, 2019, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Temple B'nai Or, 60 Overlook Rd., Morristown, N.J. 07960. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Hubert's Animal Shelter, st.huberts.org/donate, or the charity of your choice.
