Barry E. Hamlin MOORE TOWNSHIP Barry E. Hamlin, 74, of Moore Township, PA, formerly of Milford, NJ, and Cherryville, PA, passed away Sunday, Sept. 8, 2019, in Arden Courts, Allentown. Born June 11, 1945, in Easton, PA, Barry was a son of the late Edward and Rebecca (Deemer) Hamlin. He and his wife, Terry S. (Estes) Hamlin, celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary on August 27, 2019. He graduated from Delaware Valley High School in 1963, where he played on the championship football team. He received a B.S. degree in physical education in 1967 from Rocky Mountain College where he played football and a principal certificate from Marywood College in 1997. He was retired as an assistant principal at Pleasant Valley High School, where he worked for 10 years. Previously, he was a physical education teacher and football and baseball coach at Dunellen High School and had been a football coach at Delaware Valley High School and a truant officer at Northampton High School. Barry enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, golf and antique cars. He was a member of Greenwich Presbyterian Church. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Douglas Hamlin and his wife, Jocelyn, of Bethlehem; a daughter, Colleen Carlbon and her husband, Garry, of Raubsville; three brothers, Dennis Hamlin of Finesville, NJ, Edward Hamlin of Holland Township, NJ, and Allen Hamlin of Riverside, CA; and three grandchildren, Alexis and Tyler Carlbon and Connor Hamlin.
