Helen Henkel Nashville - Helen "Honey" Henkel passed away on September 7, 2019. She was born in Nashville TN on April 9, 1929.She is preceded in death by husband Sylvester Henkel, parents Henry and Mary Frances Meiers and brothers Dr. Henry Meiers and Edward Meiers. She is survived by Sister Mary Ann Francis RSM, Jannis Hackney and many loving nieces and nephews. Helen graduated from St. Bernard Academy and MTSU and was a retired Metro Nashville Public Schools teacher. She was a lifelong member of St. Ann Catholic Church and was devoted to her faith and family. Visitation with the family will be on Monday, September 9, 4 - 8 pm with Rosary service at 7 pm at Marshall-Donnelly-Combs Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday September 10 at 10 am at St. Ann Catholic Church, followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery.
