Frances Hairston Ball, 91, passed away peacefully September 3, 2019. She was born August 28, 1928 in Greenville, South Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents TR and Lois Hairston, her sister Norma Jean Wortman, and her husband of 67 years Charles Ball. She is survived by her son Gordon Ball, grandchildren Lindsay Isbell (Jamie), Chris Ball, Sean Ball, and Ashley Deavours(Craig), and great-grandchildren Savannah, Berkeley, Abby, Madelyn, Olivia, and Dalton. She was a retired school teacher and loved to travel having visited 41 countries. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 am, September 12, 2019 at McElwain Baptist Church where she was a long time member. The family recommends in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Fishes, Loaves, and Love Ministry www.fishesloavesandlove.com/donations .
