Mr. George L. Versiga age 92 of Grand Bay, Alabama passed away on Sunday, September 1,2019. He was the founder of George's Auto Service since 1952 located in Pascagoula, MS. He enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing and working in his shed doing woodwork. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and Past Master of the Grand Bay Masonic Lodge #767. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years Gertrude B. Versiga, his sons Robert B. "Bobby" Versiga and Raymond E. Versiga, his infant son Jack Lawrence Versiga, his parents George and Henrietta Versiga, his daughters-in-law Brenda Versiga and Erma Versiga, his granddaughter Ashley Versiga, his great granddaughter Madison Little and his sister Louise Guiditta. He is survived by his two sons F. Dennis Verisga and Butch (Betty) Versiga all of Grand Bay. His grandchildren Heather Price, Andrea Ewing, Kim Versiga, Tamara Smith, Dana Ray and Chad Versiga and his great grand children Brooke and Autumn Price and Dylan Dickens, Katelyn Ewing, Kyler and Aralynn Ray and Lucas Versiga. Nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation for Mr. Versiga will be Thursday September 5,2019 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Holder-Wells Funeral Home at 4007 Main Street Moss Point, MS 39563. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 pm from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Teddy Turrentine officiating. Burial will follow in Machpelah cemetery in Pascagoula with Masonic graveside rites being conducting by the Masons of Grand Bay Masonic Lodge #767.
