Steven Hawkins FARMINGTON - It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Steven A. Hawkins on Aug. 24, 2019, at the age of 62 years. Steven was a gifted mechanical engineer, machinist and business owner. He loved the outdoors, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and being with nature. He was predeceased by his father, William Hawkins. Steven will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 19 years, Darlene Harmor; mother, Barbara Hawkins; and sons, Joseph (Andrea), Steven (Julie), James (Ashley) and Nicholas. Steven loved spending time with his grandchildren, Caden and Bianca Willis, Ezekiel and Kalista Hawkins, Cameron and Ethan Hawkins, Timothy Cramer and Makayla and Landon Hawkins-Bentley, teaching the wonders of nature that brought so much joy to his life. He is also survived by eight siblings, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and coworkers and many friends. Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 27, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, 3325 Winton Road South, Rochester. A prayer service will be held on Saturday, September 28, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers please donate to Genesee Land Trust.
