Jane E. Spangler, 81, of Middletown, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2019 at Community General Osteopathic Hospital. Born on June 25, 1938 in New Oxford, PA to the late Joseph and Gladys (Fleshman) Robinson. She was a graduate of Delone Catholic High School. Jane was clerk for Bass Pro Shop in Harrisburg. She was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, Harrisburg. Jane was a constant fixture at her grandchildren's sporting events. Surviving are her husband John A. Karason, a son Tod R. Williams and his wife Dede of O'Fallon, MO, 3 daughters Kim Williams Tosh and her companion Earl Shives of Hummelstown, Elizabeth A. Gimbel and her husband Doug of Pittsburgh, Timi-Sue Bates and her husband JD of Linglestown, 2 brothers Jim Robinson and his wife Sue of New Oxford, PA, Joe Robinson of Mechanicsburg, 2 sisters Sandy Rodrigo of Hanover, Caroline Hoffman of Middletown, 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandsons. She was preceded in death by a sister Barbie Redding. In keeping with Jane's wishes there will be no immediate services.
