BURLINGTON - Maxine B. Parker entered into eternal rest on August 10th 2019 surrounded by family at the Hospice of Palliative care of Alamance-Caswell. She was born on November 11th, 1944 to the late George Thomas (Tom) Burnett and Lessie B. Burnett. Mother Maxine B. Parker was married to Deacon Aaron D. Parker and one son and one daughter was born to their union. She was preceded in death by her father George Thomas (Tom) Burnett and Mother Lessie B. Burnett. 4 brothers, Jesse Burnett, Albert Burnett, John Henry Burnett and Thomas W. Burnett. She is survived by: her husband Aaron D. Parker, 2 Sons Marvin Parker, Bishop Dr. Joshua D. Brown which she raised (Wife First Lady Krystin Brown) one daughter Tammy Parker. 2 Grandsons Justin Turner and Jaylen Turner. 2 Great Grandchildren Anderson Brown and Addyson Brown. A brother Joseph Burnett and sister Iona Whitmore and adapted daughter Audrey Ellis, along with a host of nieces, nephew's, and friends. There will be a family and friends visitation at the McClure Funeral Home Graham NC on Friday 16th From 6pm until 8pm Services will be held at Burnett Chapel Christian Church on Saturday 12pm. Mother Maxine B. Parker will lie in state inside the sanctuary of Burnett Chapel Christian Church from 11am until 12pm. With family arriving for visitation at 11:3am. The Bishop Dr. Joshua D. Brown will be Officiating The home going celebration will begin at 12pm with a graveside service following the celebration in the Burnett Chapel. Christian Church Cemetery. McClure Funeral Home Inc.
