ELEANOR M. FRENCH
FRENCH born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 6, 1930. Daughter of the late John G. French and Edna M. Hines. Passed on Saturday, August 3, 2019. Eleanor was a lady who truly enjoyed life as she traveled and loved the Cleveland Indians and closest to her heart was being involved in the USO at the Barton Senior Center where she had many friends and they spent many hours writing cards to send to those who serve in the Military. She was also employed forty years at B.L.E. Ins. Co. and ELCO Ins. and was 2012 volunteer of the year for Barton Center in Lakewood. She leaves behind her sister, Pat Eddleman and brother-in-law, Bob Eddleman; four nieces, Mary Beth Brown and husband Nick with great niece , Katie and great nephew, Geoff; Niece, Susan Gregery and husband Kevin with great niece Annie and great nephew Matt; Niece, Judy Eddleman and great niece Sydney and great nephew, Logan; Niece Donna Sweeney and husband Paul with great niece Liz and great nephew, Elijah. Personal close friends; Lon Beck, Lois Tittus, James Stevenson and Sir Von and Bonnie West. Also included are many friends both old and new at the Barton Senior Center and The Westerly Apartments. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Eleanor to The American Heart Association 7272 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75231 or American Cancer Society P.O. Box 22478 Oklahoma City, OK. A Graveside Service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery 14609 Brookpark Rd. on Saturday, August 17 at 11:00 a.m.
