Carol F. Polakowski Red Hat Society member lived in South Brunswick for many years Carol F. Polakowski, 75, of Monmouth Junction, N.J., died Thursday, July 18, 2019, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital of New Brunswick. Born in Newark, N.J., she resided most of her life in South Brunswick, N.J. Carol retired in 2006 with over six years of service as a bookkeeper with Cooper Electric, Tinton Falls, N.J. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. Daughter of the late Pol and Julia (Sippos) Keszenheimer, she was predeceased by her daughter, Desiree, partner, Bobby Gilliam and her sisters, Julia Jackson and Eleanor Cameron. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Sarah Polakowski, daughter, Shelly Capell and three grandchildren, Owen, Ella and Claire. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. with a Memorial Service to immediately follow on Tuesday, July 23 at the M.J. Murphy Funeral Home, 616 Ridge Road at New Road, Monmouth Junction. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriners Hospital for Children.
