Mildred Riendeau
Mildred Riendeau, of Jersey City, passed away at the Jersey City Medical Center on July 18, 2019. She was 92. Born in Jersey City, Mildred was a lifelong resident in the home she was born in. A devoted parishioner of St. Joseph Church, she was a member of the Rosary Society and volunteered at weekly BINGO games. Mildred was awarded "Outstanding Bowler" of the St. Joseph's Ladies Bowling League, where she was also a member. Loving wife of the late Donald M. Riendeau. Beloved mother of Patricia DiFeo (James), Joanne Riendeau and Elaine Volpe (Joseph). Dear grandmother of Matthew DiFeo, Michael DiFeo (Bojana Coklyat-DiFeo), Olivia Cohen, Adam Mason Cohen and Isabel Volpe. Predeceased by her siblings, Francis and Arthur Zielinski and Margaret Higgins. Visitation will be on Sunday, July 21, 2019, at McLaughlin Funeral Home, 625 Pavonia Ave., Jersey City from 3-7 PM. Family and friends are invited to assemble at the funeral home on Monday morning at 9:30 AM, prior to the Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Joseph R.C. Church at 10:30 AM. Cremation to follow at Garden State Crematory, North Bergen. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Joseph Church, 511 Pavonia Ave., Jersey City.
