Blackburn, Dianne 1936 - 2019 Dianne L Blackburn age 83 died July 10th 2019. She was born on June 12, 1936, married to James R Blackburn September 14, 1956. She was preceded in death by her husband and is survived by her children John (Carrie), Shelley (Mitzie), Thomas (Jona) and Todd (Brenda). Survived by her grandchildren Billy (Patty), Amy (Brad), Jack, Jesse, Tanne (Kevin), Hunter and Jessa. Survived by her sister Colleen and sister-in-laws Suzanne and Sue and numerous nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren. Her guidance and tender loving care will be missed by all of her family. Her friends are too numerous to count but she loved them all and enjoyed talking to them each and every day. She received a bachelor's degree at Cleveland State University while raising 4 children and went on to teach middle school at Horace Mann in Lakewood Ohio for 28 years. Several of her students still keep in touch with her. She was a longtime member of Bay Presbyterian church before moving to Columbus, Ohio to live by her daughters. She was loved by so many and will be missed so much. May God's love shine upon you our beloved Dianne! Memorial service to be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers please donate to the International Rescue Committee in Dianne's name.
