Glenn Robert Johnson SHORTSVILLE - Glenn R. Johnson, 85, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2019, at F. F. Thompson Hospital. The family will greet friends on Thursday, July 18, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Halsted-Patrick Funeral Home, 19 N. Main St., Manchester. Glenn's memorial service will immediately follow calling with Fr. Michael Costik officiating. Burial will be held on Friday, July 19, at 10 a.m. in St. Rose Cemetery, Shortsville. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Glenn's memory to Mercy Flight Central, 2420 Brickyard Road, Canandaigua, NY 14424; or Citizens Hose Company, 5 Sheldon St., Shortsville, NY 14548. Glenn, the son of the late Glenn E. and Cornelia (Eberwein) Johnson, was born on Friday, March 2, 1934, in Canandaigua. He graduated from Shortsville High School. Glenn served in the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1958 and retired from Mobil Chemical in 1995. Glenn was a 63 year member of the Shortsville Fire Department. He will be remembered by his loving wife of 60 years, Alberta; son, Robert (Kathy); daughter, Deborah (William) Heinzlmeir; grandchildren, Brandon (Halie Adams) Johnson, Lindsay (Joe) Maslar and Laura Heinzlmeir; great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Amelia Maslar; and brother, David (Susan) Johnson.
