Lawrence Dunn
Lawrence “Larry” Dunn lost his battle with cancer on July 5 at the age of 75. Larry is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda, his sons, Aaron and Jason, daughter-in-law Christine. Larry was born on January 9, 1944 in Springfield, MA. He was a US Navy Vietnam veteran on the USS Forrestal. After retiring from Insurance and Financial Planning, he made many smile as the “Singing Greeter” at Costco in Enfield, CT. Larry volunteered and donated to many charities including the Jimmy Fund and the local school systems. Larry loved taking trips with his family, especially to Walt Disney World. He inspired all of those around him to laugh and live life to the fullest. “If you’re quiet, you’re not living. You’ve got to be noisy and colorful and lively.” - Mel Brooks The immediate family is having a private burial at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery. A memorial reception will be held on Saturday, July 27, from 12pm-4pm at the Munich Haus, 13 Center St, Chicopee, MA. All are welcome.
