Teena Sioux Necaise Grubbs
Teena Grubbs, 58 of Moss Point, Mississippi, passed away on July 3, 2019 in Houston, Texas. Teena enjoyed to travel which included two mission trips to Honduras.She also had a love for children and spent many years advocating and caring for them. Teena attended Moss Point schools and Midway United Methodist Church. Mrs. Grubbs was preceded in death by her father, Thomas M. Necaise; her sister, Roxanne Necaise Coleman; her son, Charles F. "Chuck" Grubbs Jr.; and her nephew, Cole Jordan. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Charles F. "Freddy" Grubbs; her mother, Eddie Faye Necaise; two brothers, Monte (Janet) Necaise; Vint Necaise (Sherry Strahan) and her sister, Taris Necaise Cunningham (Charles); her sons, Reid Kennedy (Samantha); Trey Kennedy, Hal Grubbs; one daughter, Lesleigh Kennedy Fox (Jeff); her grandson, Kade Kennedy; 15 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; her longtime best friend, Deborah "Pooh" Peacock, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 9:00 am until service time at 12:00 pm at Holder - Wells Funeral Home Moss Point, Mississippi with Rev. Tom East and Rev. Roger Bradley officiating. Entombment will be at Jackson County Memorial Park Pascagoula, Mississippi. Pallbearers will be Jarrod Coleman, Chad Necaise, Daniel Necaise, Wyl Cunningham, Justin Stanford, and John Peacock. Holder-Wells Funeral Home, 4007 Main St., Moss Point, Mississippi is in charge of arrangements.
