She graduated from Curtis H.S. and then Notre Dame Academy, now St. John's University, where she earned a B.A. degree. She then married the love of her life, Dustin Weeks, who predeceased her in 1981. She enjoyed music, especially Broadway musicals and the recordings of Michael Crawford, Elvis Presley, and Barbra Streisand. She was an avid football fan, following the careers of Dan Marino and Peyton Manning, her favorite quarterbacks. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, baking, and caring for her beautiful African Violets. Joan is survived by her son, Walter Weeks of Staten Island, daughter, Barbara Stewart (Bob) of Hollywood, Fla., grandson, Stefan Weeks (Kim) and great-grandchildren, Avery, Austin, and Aaralyn of Palm Coast, Fla., her sisters, Barbara Clinton (Joe) of Waldwick, N.
